PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Design is in everything we make, but it is also in between those things. It is a mix of craft, science, story telling, propaganda, and philosophy. My priority as a designer is to find my place, position in my own agency of my profession. My agency as a designer is to combine the importance of the new and the old. I believe that It is vital to remember ones heritage and culture in order to give identity to ones work.
The Chinese Calligraphy set combines the fusion of east and west, contemporary and traditional, it's purpose is to encourage people to take part and find interest in the Art of this practice. There are many ancient wisdom and scientific studies that proves the benefits to learning Chinese calligraphy. Through this mixed media design, I want to communicate the importance of this practice and promote the unknown to the public.
