A Platform To Revolutionize The Streetwear Resell Market
The Quelper app was created as I saw a demand in the streetwear market where often people would have to queue overnight for a single pair of sneakers or the latest fashion attire. The app created aims to help those who simply desire the aesthetics of whatever they’re pursuing the chance to order without paying for an unreasonable amount on the Internet. The goal is to simply make your life easier, hire quelpers to help you queue, visualise, purchase and deliver. It is a conceptual platform organisation similar to Uber that also allows shoppers to participate and make income through helping as a freelancer.
The project started with a strong focus on observing the art of queuing. From documenting people's queuing habits in different situations and the variety of systems and signage graphics created to aid queuing in different cultures. From my research I found that in the street-wear market, a lot of the times people would have to queue overnight or even longer to get the latest fashion attire, which then shifted my focus on developing a creative solution which can aid this problem.
The quelper application was designed with a strong focus on user-experience. The clean and user-friendly interface includes a range of services that aid potential users who are looking to buy a product to hire professionals to queue on their behalf. A platform, which enables user's to hire professionals to help them queue for the latest attires, bid on queued spots and a feed that showcases the latest trendy products which are worth queuing. The best part is, it is a duo platform where enables user's to transform themselves to 'quelpers' and help instead of get help.
